Service Fee Payments
This system is fee-for-service. After the free trial period, your account must be paid up in order for your website to function.
90 Day Money-Back Guarantee
This guarantee applies only to the monthly package fee for the previous 90 days. So if you have used the website for one year, you would only be entitled to a refund of the previous 90 days worth of fees.
It does not apply to: any unpaid fees, any custom programming, any fees paid to third parties (ie for stock photos, custom visual design, logo, payment processing fees), any data import fees, fees for options including domain name registration and disk space upgrades, and any set-up fees.
Support, Training, and Set-Up
You get unlimited support and training (for one person who knows how to use a computer and a web browser) for the period of time you use our services. This includes such things as learning how to use the web software's features, and troubleshooting. You also get a half hour of set-up time. We'll subtract from this set-up time for any customization, data import, or design changes before we start charging our $75 hourly rate in 3 minute increments.
Anything related to custom email addresses counts towards setup time.
Uptime
Your web software is guaranteed to be online at least 99.9% of the year, or 99.99% of the year if you have upgraded to cloud hosting.
Data Backups / Data Integrity
Unless upgraded hosting is purchased, the entire website (web pages, database, uploaded files, emails stored on server) is backed up once a week on Sunday. Automatic database backups can be set to run more frequently. Manual database backups can be run by you whenever you like. These backups are used to restore the site in the case of a hard drive crash.
With the ValuedSafe option, report files can be stored in highly backed-up "cloud storage".
Valued Websites is not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of any custom data importing operations or your use of the website.
Cancellation of Service
You may cancel the service at any time with no penalty. Any monthly fees paid for unused service will be refunded. You will be responsible for retrieving any data from the website before it is deleted.
Ownership of Data
All data (order information, web page contents, uploaded report or other files) that you put into the web software belongs to you. The programming that make up the web software does not, and you have no rights to the resale or use of the programming that makes up the web software outside of the scope of your website.
