Please read the terms on this page and then submit the form at the bottom of this page to confirm your agreement and understanding of the terms. Customization work will not begin until you submit the form.
CUSTOMIZATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Customizations are billed at $75/hr rate in one second increments. Your website comes with a half hour of included support time (new customers only), and customizations will come out of this half hour before you are billed.
- Customization fees are due as they are billed. For a larger, ongoing customization that takes more than one work session, you may elect to wait to pay once every two weeks instead.
- All programming contains bugs (unintended errors in normal software functioning). Bug fixing is a normal part of the programming process, and therefore it is billed for. This is true even if the bugs are found years later. You will not be billed for fixing bugs in non-customized parts of the website.
- You are responsible for checking the functioning of the customization work to see that it meets your requirements. Valued Websites is not responsible for misunderstanding your initial customization request if you did the equivalent of scribbling it on a napkin.
- Troubleshooting issues caused by the custom programming will be billed for, even if the issues arise years later.
- Customizations can be estimated, and you will be notified as soon as we know if a customization will be significantly more than the estimate. However, if you have a project budget that we absolutely cannot go over, you must disclose this amount. Failure to do so may force work to stop on a customization while it’s in a useless state.
